Young Spirit is a leading provider of outdoor learning. Based in Devon, they work with school children across the South West of England running on-site and off-site programmes and residential trips.
We have been working with Young Spirit for more years than we care to remember! This is our second overhaul of their website and helps provide a more consistent brand identity with their parent company Spirit of Adventure.
The new site has been redesigned from top to bottom and is based on the popular open source WordPress software. We have enhanced this to give a more versatile editing experience by also installing Divi Builder.
The new site is a more contemporary, responsive website that is GDPR compliant. We have added automated back-ups and ensured search engines should rank the site highly by using the Yoast SEO plugin. We have also installed an SSL certificate and Wordfence security software to help enhance data security.
As per usual, full social media bookmarking tools are incorporated and a cookies opt in/out widget has been embedded using the Civic UK plug-in. A Facebook feed has been incorporated in order to communicate quickly and easily and keep the site fresh.
