Vernon MacAndrew Photographic Archive
Website Design

This was a very quick project to help Dartmouth Museum launch a new project aimed at cataloguing the archives of Vernon MacAndrew.
Vernon William MacAndrew was born in 1880 into the MacAndrew shipping family, one of the most significant British maritime trading dynasties of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. He left behind a body of photography consisting of 4,500 glass slide images and 500 negative slides, at least 1700 of which are in true colour, making it one of the largest repostitories of early colour in public ownership.
This blog aims to manage the task of cataloging & developing our understanding of the Archive. Having already set up the framework of the blog, we were asked to help improve the look and feel of the site and update the navigation layout.
