Established in 1999, Moor Trees is a Devon-based charity dedicated to recreating native woodland across Dartmoor and south Devon. The charity has planted thousands of trees in over 50 sites with the help of a team of volunteers.
When they approached us, the charity’s original website was starting to look somewhat un-loved and the content on it wasn’t particularly well organised. Worst of all, the site had been infected with malware. As a result, we have completely re-built the site from scratch, incorporating new imagery and creating a fresh new design.
The site is based on WordPress open source software with the addition of the versatile Divi Builder page builder software. The new site is GDPR compliant, has additional security software, automated back-ups and search-engine optimised pages using the popular Yoast SEO plug-in. We have also included payment services using PayPal buttons and incorporated news and events feeds from Facebook.
