We recently re-launched the website of long standing client Hurtwood Fire Risk Management. They are a Surrey-based fire safety company who advise businesses across the country on fire safety issues and requirements.
We initially developed a website for them a few years ago which significantly improved their online presence. More recently, with the increasing move towards mobile-friendly websites we decided it was time for a re-fresh.
The website has been completely re-built from top to bottom on the extremely versatile WordPress platform. This essentially gave the client a responsive, mobile-friendly website ‘out of the box’. It also gave the client a much improved content management facility and a much better blogging function.
WordPress also gives the opportunity to integrate with a number of 3rd-party plug-ins. On the new site we have included the ‘Juicer’ social media plug-in, Facebook and Google+ feeds, Yoast SEO functionality and the Monarch social media sharing plug-in.
Another update carried out was the introduction of online training course pages. Through a 3rd party organisation Hurtwood Fire now offer a number of courses via their website including fire safety, hazardous substances handling and food hygiene.
We have also designed a promotional leaflet to promote fire warden courses in Guildford.
